The Mosaic World - Community Guidelines

The Mosaic World is a privately operated online community focused on creativity, roleplay, socialization, and self-expression. These guidelines exist to protect the health, safety, and long-term stability of the game and its community.

1. Age & Safety

The Mosaic World is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 years or older.

By accessing the game and its related services, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

The moderation team reserves the right to investigate reports, statements, or circumstances that reasonably suggest an account may belong to an underage individual.

Accounts reasonably believed to belong to minors may be restricted, suspended, or permanently removed from the community.

The safety of players and the integrity of the community take priority over continued access to the game.

2. Moderator Authority

The moderation team exists to protect the health, safety, integrity, and long-term stability of The Mosaic World.

Access to The Mosaic World is a privilege, not a right.

Moderators may issue warnings, restrictions, suspensions, account removals, content removals, communication restrictions, or other actions when deemed necessary.

Not every harmful behavior can be predicted or listed in a written rulebook. As such, the moderation team reserves the right to take reasonable action against conduct that negatively impacts players, the game, or the community as a whole.

Moderation actions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Appeals may be submitted; however, final moderation decisions remain at the discretion of the moderation team.

3. Community Conduct

All players are expected to treat others with basic respect, professionalism, and decency.

The following behavior is prohibited:

Constructive criticism and respectful disagreement are welcome. Harassment and hostility are not.

4. Organized Toxicity

Friendships, guilds, roleplay groups, clubs, organizations, and communities are welcome within The Mosaic World.

However, groups may not be used to harass, exclude, intimidate, manipulate, target, pressure, or organize against other players.

The following behavior is prohibited:

The Mosaic World is not a popularity contest, social hierarchy, or high school environment. Players are expected to treat one another fairly and respectfully.

5. Outside Drama

The Mosaic World is not a platform for personal vendettas, callout campaigns, harassment efforts, or disputes originating from other communities.

Individuals who join the game for the purpose of targeting, monitoring, stalking, harassing, intimidating, or organizing hostility toward players, moderators, developers, or community members may be permanently removed from the game and related services.

Attempts to bring outside conflicts, grudges, reputation attacks, harassment campaigns, or ongoing personal disputes into the community are prohibited.

Outside drama stays outside.

6. Game Integrity & Security

Players may not intentionally undermine, exploit, damage, or interfere with the intended operation of the game.

The following activities are prohibited:

Players who discover bugs or vulnerabilities are encouraged to report them responsibly.

Abuse of exploits or security vulnerabilities may result in immediate moderation action, including permanent account removal.

7. Roleplay Standards

The Mosaic World supports roleplay and collaborative storytelling.

Content clearly marked as In Character (IC) will generally be treated as roleplay rather than a direct reflection of the player behind the screen.

Players are expected to understand the distinction between fictional characters and real individuals.

A morally questionable, antagonistic, villainous, or otherwise controversial character is not automatically representative of the player portraying them.

However, roleplay does not excuse violations of these guidelines.

Players are expected to:

The goal of roleplay is collaborative storytelling, not winning every interaction.

8. Story Content

Players are expected to be respectful of the experiences of others when discussing story content.

Intentionally spoiling major story events, secrets, discoveries, lore, puzzles, roleplay developments, or hidden content for the purpose of disrupting another player's experience is prohibited.

Players should make reasonable efforts to provide spoiler warnings when discussing major story revelations in public spaces.

Malicious spoiler behavior may result in moderation action.

9. Common Sense

Not every situation can be covered by written rules.

Players are expected to exercise common sense, good judgment, and respect toward other players, the game, and the community.

Conduct that is clearly harmful, disruptive, malicious, abusive, or contrary to the spirit of these guidelines may result in moderation action, even if the specific behavior is not explicitly listed above.

Final Notes

These guidelines are intentionally concise and may be updated, modified, expanded, or clarified at any time.

Moderation decisions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis with the health, safety, and stability of the community in mind.

The moderation team reserves the right to take appropriate action against conduct that harms players, the game, or the community, regardless of whether that conduct is explicitly listed within these guidelines.

The Mosaic World is a privilege, not a right. Respect the game, other players, and the community.
